1 Petr 1:24a Die skrif s\u00ea: “Die mens is soos gras . . .<\/em><\/p>\n

Die afgelope week was ek, grasmens, tussen hierdie gras. Hulle het regtig maar onopvallend en vaal gelyk, maar toe die “goue uur” laatmiddag aanbreek, gebeur daar iets met hulle en ook met my . . .<\/p>\n

Voor my o\u00eb is die vaal gras getransformeer na goue gras. Ek het net baie stil geraak en saam met die gras die Lig ervaar.<\/p>\n

Ons graslewens is so tydelik en gewoon, maar met Sy lig word dit Goddelik. In 2 Petrus 1 lees ons dat ons\u00a0deel kry aan die Goddelike natuur!<\/p>\n

Dankie Heer, dat U lig altyd op ons, in ons, en deur ons skyn. Maak ons asseblief daarvan bewus sodat ons kan leef as U goue graskinders. So kan elke uur ‘n goue uur, elke oomblik heilig wees.<\/p>\n

Ek wys later vir my ma die foto’s en sy s\u00ea dat dit haar herinner aan ‘n Nederlandse gedig van Nel Benschop: “Gouddraad uit vlas”. Die laaste strofe daarvan is:<\/p>\n
