Psalm 31:15-16 Maar ek vertrou op U, Here, ek s\u00ea: U is my God. My tye is in u hand.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ek het die voorreg gehad om my skoonma, wat \u2018n rukkie gelede oorlede is, se Bybel te kry. Tussen die blaaie was daar kosbare ontdekkings. . . Dis asof sy met my gekommunikeer het.<\/p>\n

Die gedig hieronder was ook daar, netjies uitgeknip:<\/p>\n

Unfolding the Rose<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is only a tiny rosebud,
\na flower of God’s design,
\nbut I cannot unfold the petals
\nwith these clumsy hands of mine.<\/p>\n

The secret of unfolding flowers
\nis not known to such as I.
\nGod opens the flower so sweetly;
\nwhen in my hands they die.<\/p>\n

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
\nthis flower of God’s design,
\nthen how can I have wisdom
\nto unfold this life of mine?<\/p>\n

So I’ll trust Him for leading
\neach moment of my day.
\nI’ll look to Him for His guidance
\neach step of the pilgrim way.<\/p>\n

For the pathway that lies before me
\nonly my heavenly Father knows
\nI’ll trust Him to unfold the moments
\nJust as He unfolds the rose. . .<\/p>\n

Here, elke roos is ook die werk van U hand en daarom weet U hoe om dit te ontvou. Daarom kan ek rus in die wete dat U, wat my ook geskep het, my lewe sal ontvou op U volmaakte manier en tyd.<\/p>\n

Hier op aarde is dit vir ons soms moeilik om aan hierdie belofte vas te hou, ons raak so gou ongeduldig en wil self ingryp. . .<\/p>\n

Laat elke roos wat ons sien ons daaraan herinner dat ons hier veilig in U liefdevolle skepper- en sorghand is en dat ons op U kan vertrou.<\/p>\n

Laat ons onthou: die Roos van Saron het ook die ontvou vertrou . . .<\/p>\n
