Vandag vier ons Jesus se hemelvaart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lukas beskryf dit as volg in sy evangelie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daarna het Hy hulle uit die stad uitgelei tot by Betani\u00eb. Daar het Hy sy hande opgehef en hulle gese\u00ebn. Terwyl Hy hulle se\u00ebn, het Hy van hulle af weggegaan en is Hy in die hemel opgeneem. Hulle het Hom aanbid en met groot blydskap na Jerusalem toe teruggegaan. Daar het hulle die hele tyd by die tempel gebly en God geprys.\u202d Lukas 24:50-53<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoe sou ons ooit naastenby kon begryp wat daardie dag plaasgevind het, iets van die bonatuurlikheid van di\u00e9 gebeure? Hoe kon dit wees dat Hy vir wie hulle so lief was, hulle verlaat het en hulle is …. bly, baie bly?? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy lei sy skape uit
lig sy hande op

al se\u00ebnende
verlaat Hy hul
… lei Hy hul in
die spore van ‘n nuwe lewe
waar o\u00ebnskynlike afwesigheid
onverklaarbaar, misterieus
Teenwoordigheid raak. . .
draai hul die rug
gaan hul t’rug
en al psalmende loop<\/em>
die tempels tempel toe<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
